Watching the turntable rotate was pretty amazing! Wish I took more pictures.

Outside (free) - Check out Cabin D to learn about (and try) the track switches.  Learn about what went on inside a Caboose.  Climb aboard the new GO train car.  Don Station has the Gift Shop and is worth a visit inside even if you're not in the shopping mood.

$5 admission ($3 for Little Man) to go inside stall 17.  Worth every penny.

Amazing time at the museum, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Toronto or hasn't been there before. Has a cool mini train, great to bring to the family too. Great historical building. Very fascinating for the kids and for adults. Great place!!

Excellent use of the old roundhouse. Reasonable admission rates albeit limited opening hours. Adds historical flavour to an otherwise sterile part of downtown.

All of the other trains cars can be seen from the outside even when the museum is closed.

17 - Historical pieces, maps, videos, old tools, dishes, uniforms, and more amazing artifact items to check out.  Little Man loved the simulator.  We both liked learning about The Canadian and the history of rail in Canada.

The roundhouse is amazing to see from outside. I didn't find anything valuable in the museum unfortunately--its super small. Staff were very nice though. A bit sad to see that the roundhouse was mostly converted to restaurants and bars as it has a lot of history and could have been a mega museum.

The Toronto Railway Museum is a very nice museum that contains a lot of very important artifacts, articles, clothing, pictures, etc. relating to the Canadian Railway History.
