  We had a great dinner. The service was amazing and the pacing of dishes perfect. Everything was flavourful and while I didn't do the wine matching per course, they were very helpful in advising what bottle to buy for working with the whole tasting menu. Def going back!

  Would have given it 5 stars except for a bit of an issue with our first course where the wait staff cleared the course before we had eaten it. It was actually untouched when they took it away without asking. It was an honest mistake as the waiter stated he wasn't paying attention and I had to chase him down into the kitchen to ask for the plate back as we hadn't eaten any of it. Otherwise service was good.

  Very impressed with Chef Jeff Kang's restaurant and tasting menu. High quality ingredients, beautiful plating and harmonious flavours. The team is hospitable and kind. The restaurant is perfect, no distractions from the food. My husband is a Chef in New York and we both agree this restaurant must be top 3 places to eat in Toronto if you have an appreciation for fine gastronomy.

  Top quality food and service in a nice calm and uncluttered space. The tasting menu is full of surprises and amazing flavours. Canis also has a great wine list with some lovely French reds. This is a great date or special occasion spot that will surely impress your partner.

  Beautiful minimalistic decor. Great food! Had their tasting menu and wine pairing which was quite good. Food was delicious and we'll prepared and presented with attention to detail. Good quantity so you won't leave hungry; quite the opposite.

  We saw this place noted as one of the best new restaurants in Toronto so thought we'd give it a try. I just have to say, these guys know how to do flavor. The broths in the dishes were so concentrated and tasty with great accents like dill and herb oils. Every dish was absolutely amazing. Usually I'm not impressed by desserts but I was here. They were not too sweet and had good balance of flavor and textures. Would definitely recommend
